Twin Isles Country Club is a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary.
This designation recognizes the Club's commitment to provide a
sanctuary for wildlife on the golf course through ongoing environmental
efforts. To reach certification, a course must demonstrate and maintain a
high degree of commitment to environmental "green" quality in the
following categories: Environmental Planning, Wildlife and Habitat
Management, Outreach and Education, Water Quality Management and
Chemical Use Reduction and Safety.
One of the Club's greatest assets is its wildlife. The Club is home to a
wide variety of wildlife: Eagles, osprey, roseate spoonbills, wood
stork, egrets, ibis and herons are some of the many species that make
their home on the golf course.
